This information cannot be perceived in depth during a short unguided tour - unless you read up on the literature. The museum and its many exhibits and facilities do need their explanations and become all the more interesting. So we would recommend every visitor to take a tour! Really. Now, yes, we had the best museum guide you could ever wish for.
Marland and his family is remarkable and amazing (and also a little scary and sad), the building is technically as well as stylistically, optically and architecturally exciting, there is a lot to see and you can dive into the past with pleasure and let yourself be touched if you like. The museum is very interesting in many ways. On this way a big thank you to David for this excellent Friday morning! So we had a great time with David, learned a lot and were very impressed! There we have had really luck. Because there were almost no other visitors on site, we were lucky that David, the Executive Director, could take the time to give us a fine guided tour with excellent explanations and exciting stories and we were also allowed to ask lots of questions. We visited the museum on a quiet day in May 2023.
